Dr. David Boone, BSPO, MPH, PhD has spent the past 37 years as an innovator, researcher and clinical instructor in prosthetics and orthotics rehabilitation and bioengineering. A graduate in P&O with a Master's in Health Economics from the University of Washington, Dr. Boone received his Ph.D. in Bioengineering from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University where he remains an adjunct professor. He is the editor-in-chief of Prosthetics and Orthotics International, is Chairman of UK-Charity Exceed Worldwide and is credited with many international technology patents in our field. A former Board member of AOPA and President of COPL, Dr. Boone was recognized with the Roland TIbbetts award from the US Small Business Administration in 2020 and the Professor Hans-Georg Nader award in 2022.
