Laurie Johnson is Manager of Regulatory Research & Assessment with Hanger’s Compliance Team. She came to Hanger with 10+ years of experience in O&P as Director of Compliance with Scheck & Siress. Since joining Hanger, Laurie has worked diligently to reduce third party risks by implementing a procurement and storage process for all necessary Business Associate Agreements across the entity. Laurie is an important part of the COVID-19 Task Force keeping Hanger in compliance with all state, federal and local regulations.
As a licensed attorney, Laurie brings an in-depth knowledge of federal, state and municipal regulations to the compliance realm. She is an active member of Illinois Society of Orthotists, Prosthetists and Pedorthist as their legal counsel and sits on the Government Affairs Committee of AOPA.
