Partial hand prosthetic sockets have historically looked like leg sockets fit on hands. By applying the principles of design for additive manufacturing (dFam) it is now possible to provide individuals with partial hand/finger loss or difference with a prosthesis that is truly designed and constructed for the unique anatomy that each of them presents with.
