The workflow proposed addresses an unsolved issue in the construction of sport prostheses: finding a way to successfully reproduce socket-foot alignment in below knee running specific prostheses. The outcome obtained proved the procedure to be a reliable method, since it was successfully adopted to replicate 5 athletes’ socket-blade alignments, all characterized by different sport blades with different length and curvatures, also meeting specific athletes’ modification requests performing correction in a very controlled manner.
