Female amputees have unique clinical and fitting considerations, but have remained largely under-represented in amputation research. This session will summarize the research related women’s care and help prosthetists understand strategies for fitting throughout pregnancy. Considerations and accommodations for female practitioners during pregnancy will also be presented.
